Her pieces are formed, fabricated, hydraulic pressed in handmade dies, and some elements are often oxidized to contrast with the matte and textured finishes on the silver & gold.

Her work just caught my eyes when I found out about it!

Depois de um longo tempo sem pintar, comecei a rever alguns dos meus trabalhos com o objetivo de desenvolver um projeto com uma amiga. Assim que tiver mais notícias eu conto.

Sempre gostei das pérolas. São delicadas, femininas e elegantes. Por isso as escolhi como destaque da primeira coleção de jóias que estou preparando. Tem mais a caminho, aguardem!

Nic Bladen

Estas lindas peças foram feitas por Nic Wells Bladen, escultor, joalheiro e ourives da África do Sul.

Sua inspiração vem da flora indígena do seu país, chamada fynbos (arbustos finos e delicados). Ele aplica a técnica de fundição a cera perdida para a produção de suas belas e delicadas jóias.

These amazing pieces were made by Nic Wells Bladen, a sculptor, jeweller and metalsmith from South Africa.

He is inspired by the indigenous flora of his country called fynbos (fine or delicate shrubbery). To make these beautiful and delicate jewelry he uses the principles of the lost wax casting techniques.

Minha nova coleção a caminho...

Estes brincos ainda não estão prontos, ainda falta muito para terminar. Mas mesmo assim, queria mostrar o que eu venho fazendo nestes últimos dias, serrando, limando, lixando etc.

Os dois pares são de prata com um pequeno botão de pérola no centro. Ainda preciso dar forma, fazer as texturas, colocar as pérolas e os pinos. E depois dar o último polimento. Ufa!

Os pendentes já estão prontos! Os dois são de prata, sendo um deles com um pequeno detalhe de latão oxidado. Os fios são de camurça.

Estas peças fazem parte da nova coleção que estou preparando para a nova loja que eu pretendo abrir no site Etsy no final de outubro ou começo de novembro. Ainda não tenho um nome para ela. Aceito sugestões!

My new collection on the way...

Just a sneek peak from my little bench... The two pairs of sterling silver earrings are not ready yet. Still a lot to do like forming, giving texture, fixing the pearls etc.

The pendants are ready, They are made of sterling silver, and one of them has a small detail made of oxidized brass. They come with a suede cord.

These are part of the new collection I am preparing for a new shop I will open on Etsy by the end of October or the beginning of November. I don´t have a name for it yet. Any suggestions?
