Yoko Shimizu

 

Yoko Skimizu was born in Japan. She lives and works in Florence, Italy, where she has been instructor at Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, since 2006 .

Yoko Shimizu  likes repetition and overlapping forms. "I like simplicity and harmony. But in the end, I feel the need to add or subtract something, so that there is something a little bit off, sometimes in search of tension, sometimes for a touch of warmth..."

Her minimalism and elegance in style just caught my attention - beautiful work!

 

Yoko Shimizu nasceu em Tóquio, Japão. Atualmente mora e trabalha em Florença, Itália, onde é instrutora  da Escola de Joalheria Contemporânea Alchimia, desde 2006.
